Este piso de la Place des Vosges está situado en la segunda planta del Hôtel de Rohan-Guéménée. Víctor Hugo, el autor de Notre-Dame de París, vivió aquí de 1832 a 1848 y escribió algunas de sus mejores obras, como Ruy Blas y gran parte de Los Miserables. Pieza a pieza, el visitante se adentra en la intimidad y la obra del gran hombre. El museo también ofrece exposiciones temáticas temporales.
