La iglesia fue reconstruida en 1859-60 en el emplazamiento de la antigua, conservando el portal del siglo XVI.
Fue consagrada el 4 de noviembre de 1860 como iglesia de San Luis.
Está amueblada con antigüedades como
-Una pila bautismal circular del siglo XII con cuatro pilares;
-Dos estatuas de María con el Niño Jesús del siglo XIV; otras varias del siglo XIV; un San Eloy de piedra caliza con restos de pintura; un San Eloy de roble pintado.
-Varias pinturas del siglo XVI, una Muerte de María, pintada sobre madera; y su homólogo, el Entierro de María8 pintado sobre tabla de madera.
Un Cristo en la Cruz9 del siglo XVI en madera pintada de blanco.
