El palacio episcopal de Sées, construido en el siglo XVIII para el obispo de Argentré, es una obra maestra de la arquitectura neoclásica, enmarcada al norte y al sur por dos grandes jardines.
El jardín sur, rediseñado en 2010, conserva el espíritu del jardín original. Está organizado en 4 zonas a ambos lados de una avenida central, eje de la gran perspectiva del palacio. En el nivel de la terraza del patio principal se ha plantado un quincunce de tilos. Se han restaurado las plazas del huerto y la huerta. Están bordeadas de árboles frutales.
Cada año, los jardines acogen una fiesta de las plantas (último fin de semana de mayo) y una fiesta de los árboles (último fin de semana de octubre), con venta, asesoramiento y eventos...
