Il palazzo episcopale di Sées, costruito nel XVIII secolo per il vescovo di Argentré, è un capolavoro di architettura neoclassica, incorniciato a nord e a sud da due grandi giardini.
Il giardino sud, ridisegnato nel 2010, conserva lo spirito del giardino originale. È organizzato in 4 aree ai lati di un viale centrale, asse della grande prospettiva del palazzo. Un quinconce di tigli è stato piantato sulla terrazza a livello del cortile principale. Le piazze del frutteto e dell'orto sono state restaurate. Sono delimitati da alberi da frutto.
Ogni anno, i giardini ospitano una festa delle piante (ultimo fine settimana di maggio) e una festa degli alberi (ultimo fine settimana di ottobre), con vendite, consigli ed eventi...
