Situada al borde del lago de Hourtin, la playa de Piqueyrot ofrece una vista impresionante de todo el lago. Con aguas poco profundas y nado supervisado, los niños pueden divertirse con total seguridad. La playa de Piqueyrot es ideal para relajarse y alejarse del bullicio del verano y disfrutar de la tranquilidad del lago. Sin embargo, no hay un carril bici seguro a lo largo de la pequeña carretera de acceso, así que ten cuidado El lago de Carcans Hourtin es el mayor lago natural de agua dulce de Francia, por lo que es un espacio frágil que hay que respetar en cualquier circunstancia. Cerca del lugar se encuentra la Reserva Natural de las Dunas y Marismas de Hourtin. Tiene a su disposición senderos didácticos señalizados que le permitirán descubrir en profundidad todas las riquezas de este territorio.
