Plage surveillée d'Hourtin-Piqueyrot

Situated on the edge of Lake Hourtin, the Piqueyrot beach offers a breathtaking view of the entire lake. With shallow water and supervised swimming, children can have fun in complete safety. The Piqueyrot beach is ideal to get away from the summer hustle and bustle, and regain the softness of a lake. On the other hand, there is no secure bicycle path along the small access road, so be careful! The Lac de Carcans Hourtin is the largest natural freshwater lake in France, so it is a fragile area to be respected in all circumstances. Close to the site is the Nature Reserve of the Dunes and Marshes of Hourtin. Marked educational trails are at your disposal to allow you to discover in depth all the richness of this area. Bicycle, horse riding and walking routes have been set up by the ONF.
