Entre 1967 y 1993 se realizaron excavaciones en el emplazamiento de un antiguo castillo medieval. Los arqueólogos descubrieron varios niveles de sarcófagos, sobre todo cerca de la cabecera del priorato.
Una parte de la necrópolis no parece anterior al siglo XII, pero una serie de tumbas datan del periodo merovingio. Los sarcófagos son de direcciones y estructuras variadas, algunos monolíticos, otros formados por varias piedras encajadas, incluso con huellas de reutilización.
Hay una muralla gala, una necrópolis merovingia de los siglos XI y XII, un priorato medieval de los siglos IX al XVIII, las ruinas de un castillo feudal del siglo XII, una necrópolis medieval del siglo XII y una instalación artesanal (horno de pan, horno de cal).
