El bordado es la técnica más adecuada para una amplia gama de tejidos de uso cotidiano, en particular tejidos gruesos como sudaderas, polos, chaquetas de plumas, ropa de trabajo, sombreros y camisas, así como ropa de hogar, peluches, gorras, etc.
Sin embargo, debe evitar bordar tejidos demasiado finos, como camisetas, para las que recomendamos encarecidamente el flocado o la serigrafía.
