Puymirol es una bastida, es decir, una ciudad fortificada "nueva", construida en la Edad Media, que domina
el valle del Séoune. Situado en el campo, Puymirol es un pueblo tranquilo pero lleno de vida gracias a
sus instalaciones deportivas (3 pistas de tenis recientemente renovadas e iluminadas, una piscina municipal), sus comercios
sus tiendas y sus numerosos eventos (festival de jazz, mercados de productores, fiesta medieval, mercado de la trufa, conciertos
mercado de la trufa, conciertos....). Impresionantes vistas sobre el valle desde las 6 casas rurales comunitarias (+2 casas rurales de alquiler anual)
situado justo encima de las murallas y de su paseo cubierto, contiguo a la casa rural n° 1121, con
acceso directo y gratuito para los inquilinos a la piscina comunitaria (3 piscinas) situada justo al lado de las casas rurales.
