El pueblo, rodeado por el meandro del Doustre, está formado por Roche-Haute, en el borde de la meseta, y Roche-Basse, 100 m más abajo, construida en la ladera. Característicos de la Roche-Basse, conocida a partir del siglo IX, son los estrechos caminos conocidos como "courrijoux", que daban acceso a los campos aterrazados, y la Tour Canillac, que se alza en la pequeña plaza con su fuente, testimonio de la influencia medieval del lugar.
