En 1929, la ciudad proyectó ampliar la red de agua potable y crear tres
lavaderos. El lavadero de Granges presenta una arquitectura mixta, inspirada tanto en el art déco (mosaicos) como en la arquitectura moderna (largas aberturas)
deco (mosaicos) y moderna (largas aberturas). El suministro de agua
se realiza a través de una abertura central en el tejado ligeramente inclinado que conduce el agua de lluvia a la piscina
