1929 plante die Stadt den Ausbau des Trinkwassernetzes und die Errichtung von drei
waschhäuser zu errichten. Das Waschhaus Les Granges weist eine gemischte Architektur auf, die sowohl von der Art Déco (Mosaik) als auch von der Mosaikkunst inspiriert ist
deco (Mosaik) als auch an der modernen Architektur (lange Öffnungen) orientiert. Die Wasserversorgung
erfolgt über eine zentrale Öffnung im sanft geneigten Dach, die das Wasser in das Becken leitet
regenwasser wird in das Becken geleitet.
