In 1929 plande de stad om het drinkwaternetwerk uit te breiden en drie
washuizen. Het washuis van Granges heeft een gemengde architectuur, geïnspireerd op zowel art deco (mozaïeken) als moderne architectuur (lange openingen)
deco (mozaïek) en moderne architectuur (lange openingen). De watertoevoer
wordt verzorgd door een centrale opening in het licht hellende dak die het regenwater naar het bassin voert
in het bassin.
