Refugio situado al borde del Estany del Mig (estanque del medio), a 2240 m de altitud al pie de los 2 Perics, sitio clasificado rodeado de una decena de estanques naturales.
El refugio está vigilado del 27 de mayo al 1 de octubre y abierto el resto del año previa reserva.
Dispone de varias opciones de alojamiento, desde media pensión hasta autoservicio.
