Fechada en 1837, esta cruz custodia de hierro forjado es testigo del episodio revolucionario de 1794. El escarpado relieve de la Margeride ofreció refugio a varios sacerdotes de la comuna perseguidos por los "Patriotas" de Saint-Chély, los brazos armados del Terror. Tres de ellos se marcharon a las gargantas de la Truyère y el Sr. Vanel huyó a La Roche, donde fue capturado y guillotinado en Saint-Flour en 1794.
