Dieses schmiedeeiserne Monstranzkreuz aus dem Jahr 1837 ist ein Zeuge der Revolutionsepisode von 1794. Das steile Relief der Margeride bot mehreren Priestern der Gemeinde Zuflucht, die von den "Patrioten" von Saint-Chély, den bewaffneten Armen des Terrors, verfolgt wurden. Drei gingen in die Schluchten der Truyère und Herr Vanel floh nach La Roche, wo er gefangen genommen und 1794 in Saint-Flour guillotiniert wurde.
