Description

Dit smeedijzeren monstranskruis, gedateerd 1837, is een getuige van de revolutionaire episode van 1794. Het steile reliëf van de Margeride bood onderdak aan verschillende priesters van de gemeente die werden opgejaagd door de "patriotten" van Saint-Chély, de gewapende wapens van de Terreur. Drie van hen vertrokken naar de kloven van Truyère en de heer Vanel vluchtte naar La Roche, waar hij in 1794 in Saint-Flour gevangen werd genomen en geguillotineerd.
