En el interior, en la base de los dos acantilados al este y al oeste, se pueden descubrir 58 de las 116 cuevas trogloditas que se encuentran en el yacimiento de Calès. Inicialmente, estas cuevas se crearon extrayendo bloques de piedra necesarios para la construcción del castillo feudal (que daba al circo). Luego se transformaron en viviendas trogloditas para albergar a la población que vivía en este circo bajo la supervisión del señor (hasta 220 personas). Se pueden ver los anillos de suspensión, los silos, las piedras de goteo en el exterior, los agujeros de las vigas). Una señalización verde permite descubrir el Circo de Calès. Comienza 100 m detrás de la iglesia del pueblo. Puede continuar su paseo descubriendo la iglesia de Saint-Denis de Calès, y las ruinas de las capillas Ste-Marie y St-Jean.
