El Moulin du Poudrier está situado a orillas del Vienne, en una finca de 4 hectáreas que existe desde finales del siglo XVI, cuando era un molino harinero.
Fue requisado por Luis XIV como molino real de pólvora, de ahí el nombre de "Le Poudrier". Después fue fábrica de porcelana, central hidroeléctrica e hilandería. El molino fue adquirido en 1998 por Jacques Vignéras, que lo restauró con Paolo Del Vecchio. El lugar ha recuperado ahora su prestigio.
El jardín es un lugar mágico que despierta todos los sentidos. De reciente creación, es de inspiración franco-italiana, con fuentes, cerámicas y estatuas de terracota. Es un jardín de placer, con más de 400 plantas y algunos árboles notables (un plátano centenario, un cedro secular). También hay un teatro al aire libre donde se representan espectáculos.
