Le Moulin du Poudrier se trouve en bord de Vienne, sur un domaine de 4 hectares existant depuis la fin du 16ème siècle, c'était un moulin à farine. Il fut réquisitionné par Louis XIV comme moulin royal à poudre à canon d'où vraisemblablement le nom "Le Poudrier". Il devint successivement usine à porcelaine, centrale hydroélectrique puis filature. Le moulin fut racheté en 1998 par Jacques Vignéras qui le restaura avec Paolo Del Vecchio. Le site a alors retrouvé son prestige .
Le jardin est un lieu magique mettant en éveil tous les sens. Récent, il est d'inspiration franco-italienne avec fontaines, poteries et statues de terre cuite. C'est un jardin d'agrément, présentant plus de 400 végétaux, des arbres remarquables (platane pluri-centenaire, cèdre séculaire). On y trouve aussi un théâtre de verdure dans lequel des spectacles sont organisés.
