La capilla del cementerio nº 1 es el edificio religioso más antiguo de la ciudad de Saint-Chély d'Apcher. De hecho, recibió el nombre de "Sancti Yieri de Capoleg" ya a principios del siglo XII, en 1109. También fue la primera parroquia de la ciudad hasta 1689, año en que la parroquia se trasladó a la iglesia de Saint-Hilaire, dentro de las murallas de la ciudad.
Construida en estilo románico, sólo conserva un ábside y dos capillas laterales de granito. Su portal de arco apuntado está rematado por un óculo. El edificio está rematado por una imponente cruz de hierro forjado que representa a Cristo en la Cruz. Los extremos de las ramas están decorados con remates.
La capilla está cerrada y no se puede visitar.
