El castillo de Haroué es una elegante obra maestra del siglo XVIII diseñada por Germain Boffrand.
Con sus 365 ventanas, 52 chimeneas, 12 torres y torreones y 4 puentes, el arquitecto quiso que simbolizara el paso del tiempo.
Numerosos artistas han contribuido a embellecer el edificio con sus obras.
Entre ellas, las barandillas de Jean Lamour y las estatuas de Barthélémy Guibal.
Los visitantes también pueden admirar un salón chino decorado por Jean Pillement y piezas de mobiliario encargadas originalmente por Luis XVIII para el castillo de Saint-Ouen.
Por último, los visitantes pueden disfrutar de un parque francés y un jardín inglés.
