El circuito de descubrimiento de las lavanderías de Saint-Georges-de-Rex es un viaje en el tiempo que recuerda estos lugares de convivencia donde se reunían exclusivamente las mujeres del pueblo para lavar su ropa y charlar.
En el poblado, el lavadero de Richebert, cuyo agua ennoblecía el foso del castillo, es una cuenca rectangular a cielo abierto alimentada por el arroyo del mismo nombre por medio de una retención. La pequeña bodega instalada cerca servía de abrevadero para el ganado.
