Der Rundgang durch die Waschhäuser von Saint-Georges-de-Rex ist eine Reise in die Vergangenheit, die an diese geselligen Orte erinnert, an denen sich ausschließlich die Frauen des Dorfes trafen, um ihre Wäsche zu spülen und zu plaudern.
Das Wasch- und Tränkebecken von Richebert im Dorf, dessen Wasser den Schlossgraben bespülte, ist ein rechteckiges Becken unter freiem Himmel, das vom gleichnamigen Bach über einen Staudamm gespeist wird. Der in der Nähe angelegte kleine Keil diente als Viehtränke.
