Reconocida oficialmente en 1840, no tuvo un lugar de reunión definido hasta la construcción e inauguración de este edificio en mayo de 1859.
El templo es obra de dos arquitectos troyanos, Boulanger y Garrel, que querían imitar el arte románico.
Construido en piedra, ladrillo y pizarra, el edificio tiene una larga planta cuadrada con cuatro estrechas ventanas de medio punto a cada lado. Sobre la entrada, una torre rematada por una aguja está flanqueada por cuatro campanarios.
El interior, una gran sala de cierta austeridad y desprovista de decoración, refleja la concepción espiritual de la religión protestante.
