Riconosciuta ufficialmente nel 1840, non aveva un luogo di riunione definito fino alla costruzione e all'inaugurazione di questo edificio nel maggio 1859.
Il tempio è opera di due architetti troiani, Boulanger e Garrel, che volevano imitare l'arte romanica.
Costruito in pietra, mattoni e ardesia, l'edificio ha una lunga pianta quadrata con quattro strette finestre a tutto sesto su ogni lato. Sopra l'ingresso, una torre sormontata da una guglia è affiancata da quattro campanili.
L'interno, una grande sala con una certa austerità e priva di decorazioni, riflette la concezione spirituale della religione protestante.
