TEATRO, Mirecourt
Es difícil imaginar que el teatro de Mirecourt fuera uno de los más importantes de los Vosgos por su tamaño y belleza.. Su construcción es bastante original, ya que el primer teatro se construyó en 1824 en la antigua capilla del convento y sala capitular de la Congregación de las Hermanas de Notre-Dame.
Posteriormente, en 1857, el auditorio fue completamente restaurado en su actual disposición de "teatro italiano", con dos balcones, un gallinero y un aforo de 450 plazas. Cerrado en 1950, el teatro quedó en mal estado y se deterioró rápidamente. Se salvó de la demolición gracias a la acción de las asociaciones locales y fue clasificado como monumento histórico por Jack Lang en 1989.
