Probablemente de finales del siglo XV o principios del XVI, esta cruz procede del pueblo de l'Hospital, donde había una encomienda dependiente de Carlat. Presenta un gran parecido con las cruces esmaltadas utilizadas en los altares o en las procesiones, con los extremos floridos y trebolados, la Virgen María, casi en actitud de súplica, a la derecha de Cristo y San Juan Evangelista a su izquierda. San Juan sostiene una cruz en la mano en lugar del atributo tradicional: un libro. Aunque pensemos que el escultor se inspiró en las cruces esmaltadas, es difícil datar esta cruz. Sería presuntuoso afirmar que es contemporánea de las cruces esmaltadas del siglo XIV.
