Probabilmente risalente alla fine del XV o all'inizio del XVI secolo, questa croce proviene dal villaggio di l'Hospital, dove esisteva una commenda dipendente da Carlat. Presenta una forte somiglianza con le croci smaltate utilizzate sugli altari o nelle processioni, con le estremità fiorite e trifogliate, la Vergine Maria, quasi in atteggiamento di supplica, alla destra di Cristo e San Giovanni Evangelista alla sua sinistra. San Giovanni tiene in mano una croce invece del tradizionale attributo: un libro. Anche se pensiamo che lo scultore si sia ispirato alle croci smaltate, è difficile datare questa croce. Sarebbe presuntuoso affermare che è contemporanea alle croci smaltate del XIV secolo.
