Las obras de arte contemporáneas se han unido a las orillas del Thouet. Diseñadas por la artista Corène Caubel en el marco de un encargo público del Ministerio de Cultura, forman un camino a lo largo de este afluente del Loira y crean una resonancia con el paisaje en el que se encuentran, invitando al visitante a explorarlo."Las cabañas de playa en las murallas" se encuentran en la explanada del castillo de Thouars, "La pêcherie de vignes" cerca de la cabane de Vignes en Saint-Jean de Thouars y "Le Phare des Sablons" en la ladera de los petits Sablons en Saint-Jacques de Thouars.
