"Orestes se refugia en el altar de Palas" en la plaza Saint Nizier es una obra de Pierre-Charles Simart, artista troyano nacido en 1806 y fallecido en 1857 en París.
Se inspiró en la versión de Esquilo de la historia de Orestes.
Se trata de un modelo de bronce realizado a partir de un modelo de yeso conservado en el Museo de Bellas Artes de Troyes. La escultura original se realizó en Roma en 1838. La creación en mármol se encuentra en el Museo de Bellas Artes de Rouen.
