"Orestes zoekt zijn toevlucht bij het altaar van Pallas" op de Place St Nizier is een werk van Pierre-Charles Simart, een Trojaanse kunstenaar geboren in 1806 en overleden in 1857 in Parijs.
Hij werd geïnspireerd door Aeschylus' versie van het Orestes-verhaal.
Het is een bronzen afgietsel gemaakt van een gipsmodel dat wordt bewaard in het Museum voor Schone Kunsten in Troyes. Het originele beeldhouwwerk werd in 1838 in Rome gemaakt. De creatie in marmer bevindt zich in het Musée des Beaux-Arts in Rouen.
