"Oreste se réfugiant près de l'autel de Pallas" sur la place Saint-Nizier est une œuvre de Pierre-Charles Simart, artiste troyen né en 1806 et mort en 1857 à Paris.
Il s'est inspiré de la version d'Eschyle de l'histoire d'Oreste.
Il s'agit d'une fonte en bronze réalisée à partir d'un modèle en plâtre conservé au musée des Beaux-Arts de Troyes. La sculpture originale a été réalisée à Rome en 1838. La création en marbre se trouve au musée des Beaux-Arts de Rouen.
