Sandford-on-Thames, también conocido simplemente como Sandford, es un pueblo y un Consejo Parroquial junto al río Támesis en Oxfordshire, justo al sur de Oxford. El pueblo se encuentra justo al oeste de la carretera A4074 entre Oxford y Henley.
En 1086, el Libro Domesday contaba 18 familias que vivían junto al vado arenoso sobre el Támesis entre Iffley y Radley. Seiscientos años después, la población del pueblo apenas había duplicado, y todavía había menos de 200 personas a principios del siglo XIX. Hoy en día, la población supera los 1,000 y las fronteras de la parroquia han sufrido una revisión considerable.
