Stoke-by-Nayland es una aldea y parroquia civil en Suffolk, Inglaterra, cerca de la frontera con Essex. La aldea, situada dentro del distrito de Babergh, cuenta con muchas cabañas y casas de marco de madera que rodean un campo de recreo. Posiblemente, una vez fue el sitio de un monasterio; la población de la parroquia civil en el censo de 2001 era de 703, disminuyendo a 682 en el censo de 2011.
La aldea se menciona por primera vez en 946 en el testamento de Ælfgar, un conde, donde dotó tierras a una comunidad en la aldea, posiblemente un monasterio.
