Kielder es una pequeña aldea remota en el oeste de Northumberland, Inglaterra. Ubicada en la cabecera de Kielder Water y en el noroeste del Bosque de Kielder, la aldea se encuentra a menos de tres millas de la frontera escocesa.
El asentamiento temprano alrededor de Kielder Castle, un pabellón de caza construido por el Duque de Northumberland en 1775. Los asentamientos anteriores fueron ampliados en la década de 1950 por la Comisión Forestal, que construyó viviendas para acomodar a los trabajadores empleados en la plantación del Bosque de Kielder. La mayor parte de estas viviendas ahora han sido vendidas de nuevo al sector privado.
