La Catedral de San Giles, más propiamente llamada la High Kirk de Edimburgo, es el principal lugar de culto de la Iglesia de Escocia en Edimburgo. Su distintiva aguja en forma de corona es una característica prominente del horizonte de la ciudad, aproximadamente a un tercio del camino por la Royal Mile que va desde el Castillo hasta el Palacio de Holyrood. La iglesia ha sido uno de los puntos focales religiosos de Edimburgo durante aproximadamente 900 años. La iglesia actual data de finales del siglo XIV, aunque fue restaurada extensamente en el siglo XIX, y está protegida como un edificio catalogado de categoría A. La catedral está dedicada a San Giles, quien es el santo patrón de Edimburgo, así como de los discapacitados y los leprosos.
