El Ferrocarril Funicular de Lynton y Lynmouth es un ferrocarril funicular propulsado por agua que une las ciudades gemelas de Lynton y Lynmouth en la accidentada costa de North Devon, en el suroeste de Inglaterra.
Lynton y Lynmouth están separadas por un alto acantilado, lo que dificulta el movimiento de personas y mercancías entre ellas. A fines de 1800, surgió el interés por construir un funicular o ascensor de acantilado para unirlas. El ingeniero civil George Croydon Marks desempeñó un papel clave tanto en su diseño como en la obtención de financiamiento de su socio comercial, Sir George Newnes. El contratista local Robert Jones estuvo involucrado en el diseño del innovador sistema de frenos del funicular y en la construcción y mantenimiento de la línea en las primeras décadas de su funcionamiento.
