De Lynton en Lynmouth Cliff Railway is een wateraangedreven funiculair spoorweg die de twee steden Lynton en Lynmouth verbindt aan de ruige kust van North Devon in het zuidwesten van Engeland.
Lynton en Lynmouth zijn gescheiden door een hoge klif, wat het moeilijk maakt voor mensen en goederen om tussen hen te bewegen. Eind jaren 1800 ontstond de interesse om een funiculair of kliflift te bouwen om hen te verbinden. De civiele ingenieur George Croydon Marks speelde een belangrijke rol in zowel het ontwerp als het regelen van financiering van zijn zakenpartner, Sir George Newnes. Lokale aannemer Robert Jones was betrokken bij het ontwerp van het innovatieve remsysteem van de funiculair en de aanleg en onderhoud van de lijn in de eerste decennia van de operatie.
