El Museo nacional de Cardiff es un museo británico y una galería de arte localizado en la capital galesa de Cardiff. El museo forma parte de la red más amplia de Amgueddfa Cymru – National Museum Wales. La entrada se mantiene libre mediante una subvención del gobierno galés; sin embargo, sí piden donaciones en todo el museo.[1] Situado en el conjunto de edificios eduardianos que configuran el complejo cívico de Cathays Park. Su construcción comenzó en 1912 pero debido a la Primera Guerra Mundial no se pudo inaugurar al público hasta 1927.
