La Southwell Minster [1][2][3] es una iglesia de origen medieval de Inglaterra, una minster y catedral erigida en Southwell, Nottinghamshire. Es la sede del obispo de Southwell y Nottingham y de la diócesis de Southwell y Nottingham. Se encuentra a unos diez kilómetros de Newark-on-Trent y a unos veinte de Mansfield.
Se piensa que la primera iglesia en el sitio fue fundada en 627 por Paulinus, el primer arzobispo de York, cuando visitó el área mientras bautizaba a los creyentes en el río Trent. La leyenda se conmemora en la ventana del baptisterio de Minster.[4]
