El hundimiento de la flota alemana tuvo lugar en la base británica Scapa Flow, en las islas Orcadas , al final de la Primera Guerra Mundial. La Flota de Alta Mar había sido internada bajo los términos del Armisticio mientras se negociaba sobre el futuro de los buques. Temiendo que los buques fueran repartidos entre las potencias aliadas, el comandante alemán, almirante Ludwig von Reuter, decidió echar a pique la flota.[1]
