El embalse de Clywedog es un embalse cerca de Llanidloes, Gales, en el curso superior del río Severn. La construcción del embalse se hizo posible gracias a una ley del Parlamento que establecía: "En ciertos momentos, el caudal del río es insuficiente ... a menos que dicho caudal se regule de tal manera que se garantice que en esos momentos fluya agua junto al caudal natural del río."
