Glevum fue originalmente un fortín romano en la Britania romana que se convirtió en una "colonia" de legionarios retirados en el año 97 d.C. Hoy en día, es conocido como Gloucester, en el condado inglés de Gloucestershire. El nombre Glevum es utilizado por muchos negocios actuales en la zona y también por el Glevum Way de 26 millas, un sendero de larga distancia o camino recreativo que rodea la moderna Gloucester.
