La Abadía de Dieulacres fue un monasterio cisterciense establecido por Ranulf, conde de Chester, en Poulton, Cheshire. Se trasladó al sitio actual en Abbey Green cerca de Leek, Staffordshire, en 1214, posiblemente en parte como resultado de las incursiones en el antiguo sitio por parte de los galeses.
El nombre significa 'que Dios lo aumente', y se deriva de la supuesta exclamación de la esposa de Ranulf, cuando él le informó sobre un sueño en el que se le pedía trasladar la abadía de Poulton por su abuelo fallecido. Después de su muerte, su corazón fue removido y enterrado dentro de la abadía, y su cuerpo en otro lugar; lo cual ahora parece inusual pero parece haber sido una costumbre común durante gran parte del período medieval.
