La República Democrática de Georgia fue el primer estado moderno de Georgia y existió entre 1918 y 1921.
La República Democrática de Georgia fue creada después del colapso del Imperio ruso, iniciado con la Revolución rusa de 1917. Al constituirse limitaba con la República Popular de Kubán y la República de las Montañas del Cáucaso Septentrional en el norte, el Imperio otomano y la República Democrática de Armenia en el sur, y la República Democrática de Azerbaiyán en el sudeste. Tenía una superficie total de aproximadamente 107.600 km² y una población de 2.5 millones de habitantes.
