Galepso fue una polis costera de Tracia, colonia de Tasos.[1] El topónimo es Γαληψόσ,[1][2][3] cuyo nombre derivaría de Galepso, hijo de Tasos y Télefe.[4] El gentilicio es galepsios .[5]
Estrabón dice que era una de las polis comprendidas entre la desembocadura del río Estrimón y la del Nesto, citándolas de oeste a este: Fagres, Galepso y Apolonia.[6]
