El castillo de Barryscourt es un castillo ubicado en el este del condado de Cork en el sur de Irlanda, cerca de la ciudad de Carrigtwohill.
El sitio donde se encuentra actualmente el castillo de Barryscourt ha estado ocupado durante más de mil años; hay evidencia de un molino de agua de madera que fue construido junto a un arroyo en el sitio en algún momento del siglo VII, mucho antes de que existiera alguna fortificación allí. Barryscourt cayó en manos de la familia anglo-normanda de Barry en el siglo XII, y la mampostería de este período encontrada en el sitio puede ser los restos de otro molino de agua o posiblemente una fortificación temprana construida por los Barry.
