El Castillo de Maynooth es un castillo en ruinas del siglo XII en Maynooth, condado de Kildare, Irlanda, que se encuentra en la entrada del Campus Sur de la Universidad de Maynooth. Construido a principios del siglo XIII, se convirtió en la residencia principal de la familia Fitzmaurice y Fitzgerald de Kildare.
El área que cubre la Kildare moderna fue concedida por Strongbow a Maurice Fitzgerald, Lord de Llanstephan, en 1176. La torre original fue construida alrededor de 1203. El castillo fue edificado por Gerald Fitzmaurice, el segundo hijo mayor de Maurice Fitzgerald, Lord Llanstephan, en la confluencia de dos arroyos a finales del siglo XII y se convirtió en el hogar de la familia Fitzmaurice y Fitzgerald.
