Kilcommon es una parroquia civil en Erris, en el norte de Mayo, que consta de dos grandes penínsulas; Dún Chaocháin y Dún Chiortáin. Consta de 37 localidades, algunas de las cuales son tan remotas que no tienen habitantes. La habitabilidad se concentra principalmente a lo largo de ambos lados de la bahía de Sruwaddacon, que fluye hacia la bahía de Broadhaven, en aldeas que incluyen Glengad, Pollathomas, Rossport, Inver y Carrowteige, y en el área de Glenamoy más tierra adentro.
